CEO Patrick Brosnan Offers Archangel Michael Statue Memorial to Honor Fallen Officers

The archangel St. Michael is the patron saint of police officers, the military, and others who are traditionally engaged in protection of the innocent. He is considered a champion of justice and a healer of the sick. In this depiction, St. Michael cradles a fallen officer who has been mortally wounded while executing his sworn duty to serve and protect. St. Michael’s sword of righteousness is held aloft and his eyes look to Heaven, as he protects this hero during his last mortal breath.

This is a bronze original statue of the Archangel Michael coming to the aid of a fallen law enforcement officer. The original statue was the work of Mr. Paul Tadlock and dedicated by the Odessa Police Officers Memorial Foundation to the Odessa Police Department. New York native Mr. Pat Brosnan, owner and CEO of Brosnan Risk Consultants and a former NYPD Detective, was inspired by the statue and commissioned this work in memory of law enforcement members who have lost their lives in the line of duty. He believes it is a fitting and appropriate homage to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and had it designed to be available for display during memorial services for fallen heroes. When Detective Brosnan was asked why he was compelled to commission the statue in honor of the fallen, Brosnan simply replied, “it was the least I could do.”
